Hartlepool United president aims to raise 500k for charity
Hartlepool United president Jeff Stelling aims to raise £500,000 for charity Prostate Cancer UK by taking part in 15 marathons.
The sports presenter will team up with March for Men in June to raise half a million pounds by walking 15 marathons in 15 days from Exeter City to Newcastle United.
Stelling alongside former Pools Chief Executive Russ Green, last year walked 10 marathons in 10 days from The Vic to Wembley raising £420,000.
This years challenge will start in Devon on Friday 2nd June and end at The Magpies’ St James’ Park a fortnight later.
During the trek, the 61-year-old will visit more than 40 football clubs as part of Prostate Cancer UK's wider walking programme in a bid to raise £1million during 2017.
