North East teenager signs for Stoke City
Jack Devlin has signed a six month contract for Stoke City from non league side Newcastle Benfield.
The 18-year-old impressed on a recent trial with the Potters which seen him sign a contract with the Premier League club.
Devlin had previously played for North Shields which saw him score 24 goals in 25 games.
Devlin was released by Sunderland AFC at the age of 12 and has spent most of his current career in non league football.
The youngster will now join up with Stoke's academy side after featuring in a behind closed doors doors game against AFC Bournemouth.
