Former Sunderland striker Michael Chopra is training with Hartlepool United under former Bluebirds boss Dave Jones.

Chopra's last club was Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters but now the striker is a free agent.

The 33-year-old forward has linked up with Jones for the third time in his career in hope of a short term deal at Victoria Park. Chopra previously spent two spells under Jones' management at Cardiff City,

Chopra started off his career at Newcastle United before moving to Wearside in 2007.
