David Moyes has welcomed back Victor Anichebe's return from injury against his former side West Bromwich Albion.

Anichebe has been sidelined through injury but is now available for selection versus his former employers.

Anichebe spent three seasons at the Midlands club and Moyes believes the Nigerian strikers presence will come as a big boost to his injury hit squad.

Moyes looks forward to pitting his wits against West Brom manager Tony Pulis. Moyes has had several encounters with Pulis over the years and predicts Saturday's game at the Hawthorns will be the same.

The Scotsman gave an update to the Black Cats long list of injuries. Sunderland have lost key first team players to injury this season but hope to be able to call upon Jack Rodwell for Saturday's game against the Baggies.
