Karanka: Carroll's quality undeniable

Aitor Karanka is aware of of Andy Carroll's aerial ability but has not ruled out the rest of West Ham's squad quality as a threat.

The West Ham striker scored a spectacular scissor kick in the Hammers 3-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Although Carroll's effort was a contender for goal of the season, the Boro boss is fully aware of his opposition's other talents in their squad.

Boro face West Ham at the Riverside stadium who've been in mixed form as of late. The East London club have won four our of their last seven games and sit four places above Boro in 12th place.
