Police appeal after man abuses Metro staff

Police have released an image of a man they would like to trace after a member of Metro staff was abused in Newcastle.

On November 23 at around 2:30pm, police received a report that an unknown man had approached staff at Haymarket Metro station and verbally abused them.

It was also reported that he pushed one of the staff members, but fled the scene before officers arrived at the station.

Enquiries are still ongoing into the incident.
