Theatre bosses are celebrating a new box office record after pantomime show Peter Pan broke million pounds in sales.
Peter Pan went on sale in November 2016 and has sold more than 49,000 tickets nearly 11 months ahead of its opening night - surpassing the previous record set by Cinderella.
Peter Pan will feature father and son team Danny Adams and Clive Webb in their thirteenth consecutive Theatre Royal pantomime appearance.This combination is brought together by Newcastle’s own Michael Harrison who directs the show.
