David Moyes labelled Sunderland's performance "poor" as they drew 0-0 against Burnley in their third round FA Cup tie.

The Black Cats will now have to play Burnley again in the cup after failing to take advantage of their limited amount of chances. Moyes fielded a strong side against The Clarets despite losing players through injury and the African Cup of Nations.

Despite the draw, Moyes remained upbeat regarding his sides defensive display keeping a clean sheet. Sunderland conceded four goals the last time the two sides met in the league last December. The Black Cats replay against Burnley will take place at Turf Moor during the week commencing 16 January.
