Paul Gascoigne taken to hospital with head wound after hotel 'disturbance'

Former Newcastle United and England star Paul Gascoigne was treated in hospital for a head injury following a disturbance at a hotel in London.

The 49-year-old was said to be in a stable condition.

Police say there have been no arrests.
