Bradley Lowery receiving more mail than Santa
Five-year-old Bradley Lowery, who has a rare childhood cancer, is receiving tens of thousands of cards, letters and gifts from members of the public.
Bradley's parents Carl and Gemma have said his wish is to have as many Christmas cards as possible.
Last week they received the devastating news that treatment in America, which had been funded by public donations, will not save his life because the tumour has grown.
The North East's biggest mail centre in Gateshead has handled 28,000 items just today. There are 75 parcels for Bradley and Post Office workers say Santa hasn't even had this much.
There is now a whole section of the sorting office designated for Bradley's mail and he is receiving more mail than some entire post code areas!
Bradley was also given a gift from his favourite football club, Sunderland AFC. He was mascot at their game against Chelsea.
