A Christmas tree in Durham has gone viral and captured the attention of a famous author.

Kathryn Burnett from Seaham in Durham has created a Harry Potter-themed Christmas tree, which has become an internet sensation. She also received a 'like' on social media channel Twitter from the author herself JK Rowling.

Most of the decorations, which feature Ron Weasley’s Ford Anglia, Professor Umbridge, the Howler and more, are from the Warner Bros studio tour which Kathryn has visited 11 times.
