Northern Powerhouse minister Andrew Percy visits North East entrepreneurs

The Northern Powerhouse Minister Andrew Percy is visting the region for the first time since taking up the role in July.

He will be meeting entrepreneurs from across the North East. It comes after the government announced a further £500 million will be invested in small businesses across the north.

Mr Percy will visit Entrepreneurial Spark in Newcastle - the UK's largest business growth 'hub' which brings together entrepreneurs with mentors and training.

The Minister has been touring businesses across the Northern counties this week and on Tuesday announced an extra £500million worth of investment to help small businesses grow.
