Castle Howard in top five UK visitor attractions
North Yorkshire's Castle Howard has made it into the top 5 of the 'Attractions Trend Index' released by travel site Tripadvisor.
They've revealing the top 10 UK attractions that have seen the greatest increase in traveller interest this Autumn, based on year-over-year search activity on TripAdvisor.
1Compton Acres, Poole, Dorset
Compton Acres consists of 10 acres of ornamental gardens. There are five main themed gardens to explore: Italian, Wooded Valley, Rock and Water, Heather and Japanese.
2Castle Howard, York, North Yorkshire
Castle Howard is a stately home located 15 miles north of York. The residence has been the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years. Castle Howard has recently starred as Kensington Palace in ITV's new drama, Victoria.
3Ridge Walk Mam Tor to Losehill, Castleton, Derbyshire
