Disappointment for X Factor's Melissa Pedro
Gateshead teacher Melissa Pedro is out of The X Factor competition after failing to keep her seat during the Sis Chair Challenge round.
Melissa, who is in the Overs category, had to impress mentor Sharon Osbourne to be one of the six singers chosen to go through to Judges' Houses, where the finalists are chosen.
The 27 year old, who teaches at Dunston Hill Community Primary, was initially given a seat but was replaced. She sang Wild Horses, originally by the Rolling Stones, but it wasn't enough to keep her in the competition. Melissa has taken to social media to thank the public for the support she has received.
