Josef Craig returns to cheering crowds at Newcastle airport

Josef Craig landed at Newcastle airport this afternoon and was welcomed back to the North East with spontaneous applause from friends, family and bystanders.

The Jarrow Paralympian won a bronze in the men’s 100m freestyle S8 final.

He says he's "proud" of what he's achieved. Rightly so, with a personal best and British record:
