Thousands of people will be heading to Sunderland for the International Airshow this year. To accommodate the extra travellers, the Tyne and Wear Metro will be running extra services.

The airshow, which takes place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July on the Roker seafront, attracts large crowds from across the North East and beyond. For this reason, people are advised to allow extra travel time.
