Wintry showers across the region should slowly die out this evening, with most parts dry by midnight.

Clear spells will lead to a widespread frost by morning, with a few icy patches possible.

Minimum Temperature -3 °C.

Tomorrow:

After a cold start, Thursday morning should be mainly dry with some sunny spells.

However, thickening cloud will bring outbreaks of rain and some hill snow later in the day.

Maximum Temperature 9 °C.

Outlook:

Windy with rain or showers and some hill snow on Friday.

Sunny spells and occasional showers on Saturday, but more general cloud and rain expected on Sunday.

Becoming less cold.
