York striker Fewster wins Player of the Month

York City striker Bradley Fewster has been named League Two Player of the Month Credit: Football League

York City striker Bradley Fewster has been named League Two Player of the Month for February.

The 20-year-old, on loan at Bootham Crescent from Middlesbrough, has been in fine form for the Minstermen and scored five goals in as many games last month.

Fewster, who fought off competition from Newport County’s Scott Boden, Rod McDonald of Northampton Town and Plymouth Argyle’s Oscar Threlkeld to claim the accolade, said:
