20 arrested in connection with Sunderland shooting

Police have arrested a 28-year-old man after a window was shot at in Sunderland, taking the total to 20 arrests.

The shooting happened on Monday February 29 in Edgmond Court at around 1.40pm.

Since then police are continuing to pursue those suspected of involvement; yesterday six houses were searched, ten vehicles were stopped and checked and £2,400 in cash was seized by the police.
