Northumberland's Michael Oliver to referee Capital One Cup Final
Michael Oliver will referee this year's Capital One Cup Final between Liverpool and Manchester City.
The 30-year-old will be assisted at Wembley Stadium by Simon Bennett and Adrian Holmes.
Bobby Madley has been appointed as Fourth Official, while Eddie Smart will be the Reserve Assistant Referee.
Oliver, a member of the Northumberland Football Association, has been a domestic official since 2003 and a FIFA listed official since 2012.
He made his Football League debut on March 10 2007 in a Sky Bet League 2 encounter between Hereford and Grimsby Town.
His Premier League debut followed three years later, taking charge of a game between Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers in August 2010.
Oliver has officiated at Wembley before, most recently in the FA Cup semi-final in April of 2015 when Aston Villa defeated Liverpool 2-1.
