Family members of Pc David Rathband to find out if claim has been successful

Family members of Pc David Rathband are expected to find out today whether their High Court negligence claim against Northumbria Police has been successful.

The police officer was shot and blinded by gunman Raoul Moat while on duty and later took his own life.

PC Rathband's brother and sister claimed he should have been warned that Moat had threatened to kill officers.
