Backstage at Metro Radio Christmas Live 2015
It's that time of year, Newcastle takes centre stage as the chart-toppers flock to the Toon. Rachel Sweeney was backstage at Christmas Live.
A chart-topping line up, ten thousand music fans and backstage access. What a night in Newcastle. Metro Radio Christmas Live 2015 at Newcastle arena was packed full of screaming fans. The line-up included Olly Murs, Nathan Sykes, Dappy, Lunchmoney Lewis and Blonde. Stealing the show though, was X Factor finalists Reggie N Bollie. The boys are mentored by Geordie judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who was very happy to have them in her hometown.
And the successful duo had a lot to say about their mentor, Cheryl.
Reggie N Bollie are now performing at arenas alongside famous artists like Blonde, who praised Newcastle and the audiences.
Opening the show was X Factor presenter Olly Murs. Olly has gone from a contestant on the show to main presenter in just six years. He says he is proud to have made history in doing so.
Olly brought a surprise guest on stage with him. Vanessa White from The Saturdays and Demi Lovato's part in the duet 'Up'.
And he was quick to back X Factor contestants Reggie N Bollie.
Backstage Olly caught up with Teesside's Josh Daniel who made it to Nick Grimshaw's final six boys on the ITV talent show.
Josh was performing alongside local singers Abi Garrido, Channy Thompson and Boo. The acts were there after winning The Big Audition music competition.
10,000 people watched the acts and that's it for another year!
