We currently have 0 severe warnings, 3 flood alerts and 1 flood warning.

Staff at the Environment Agency have been working round the clock to check and maintain defences, clear blockages in watercourses, monitor water levels and issue flood warnings.

The highest levels ever recorded were seen on the River Tyne at Corbridge in a weekend which saw torrential rain fall over Northumberland.

But flood defences protected homes and businesses across the region.
