Six Stockton teenagers deny murdering Shane Tunney at Teesside Crown Court
Six teenagers accused of murdering of Shane Tunney denied the charges at Teesside Crown Court today.
Two 18-year-olds, Keiron Davis and Brandon Pitt, along with four other defendants from the Stockton area who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to murder.
They also deny attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to another man.
Their trial before a High Court Judge is expected to start on April 6th and last between 4-6 weeks.
The six teens were remanded in custody until their trial by Judge Simon Bourne-Arton QC.
Shane Tunney died nearly five weeks after he was attacked after a night out in Norton on Saturday June 27th this year. He sustained serious head injuries during the attack and never woke up from a coma.
