Competition to have plane named after Jacob Jenkins tops 20,000 votes
Thousands of people have voted for a plane to be named after two-year-old Jacob Jenkins, who died after choking on a grape.
The toddler had been at a restaurant in Hartlepool when the piece of fruit became lodged his throat in October. He died five days later in the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Now, bosses at airline company Thomson have opened a competition to name its new plane. So far Jacob has received over 20,000 votes online.
