Funeral of toddler Jacob Jenkins to be held in Hartlepool
The funeral of toddler Jacob Jenkins, who died after choking on a grape, will take place this afternoon in Hartlepool.
The two-year-old spent five days in a coma at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle after the incident took place at a Pizza Hut in Hartlepool in October.
The public are invited to attend the funeral, which is taking place at St Joseph's Church at 1pm, but have been asked to please make sure family have priority.
The family have asked people wear traditional black and white with a hint of yellow, Jacob's favourite colour.
Hartlepool United players wear yellow armbands in memory of two-year-old Jacob Jenkins.
A fundraising page set up in Jacob's memory to support his family and pay for his funeral has now raised nearly £20,000.
