Your pictures: Tour of Britain arrives in Northumberland

The Tour of Britain, one of the most prestigious cycling events in the world, has been in the North East this afternoon.

Many of the sport's biggest names, like Sir Bradley Wiggins, are taking part.

The riders set off from Edinburgh this morning and they pass through Wooler, Alnwick and Warkworth on their way to the end of today's stage in Blyth later this afternoon.
