A memorial match has been held for two Newcastle United fans, who died in the MH17 disaster.

John Alder and Liam Sweeney were both killed when their plane was brought down over Ukraine.

They were on the way to New Zealand to watch their team in action in pre-season friendlies.

The memorial match in Killingworth will now become an annual event.
