Durham Tees Valley Airshow to return after 25 year break
An airshow is due to return to Teesside this summer after a break of more than 25 years.
Details about the Skylive Airshow at Durham Tees Valley Airport are expected to be revealed soon.
Organisers are promising a full day of flying followed by a night of live music on Saturday 29th August.
The last event of its kind held at the airport was in 1989.
It adds another date in the calendar for fans, who turn out in their hundreds of thousands to see the Sunderland Airshow each year.
