Paralympic legend Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson is backing 'Sports Fest North East' a free event for all ages and impairment groups to have a go at a wide range of disability sports.
Grey-Thompson, who won 11 gold medals during her track career, is calling for people in the region to set up to the day, set to take place at Durham University on March 5.
Grey-Thompson was pleased to see that some of the North East’s brightest sporting talents had committed their support to Sports Fest, adding:
The event will take place at Durham University, The Graham Sports Centre, Maiden Castle, Durham on March 5 from 10am.
