A North East photographer came into the studio earlier to talk about being shortlisted for a prestigious award.

Paul Kingston, from Teesdale, is in the running to be named the Guardian's Agency Photographer of the Year.

He will find out whether or not he has won the award next week, on Monday 29 December.
