New leads two years after unsolved murder

Police are investigating new leads two years after the unsolved murder of John Roberts.

John 'the Badge' Roberts was found dead inside his house in Park Terrace, Winlaton, on December 16, 2012.

Since then, Northumbria Police detectives have been running a murder investigation to find those responsible. Officers have carried out over 3,000 house-to-house enquiries and spoken to 5,000 people since the inquiry was launched.
