St Nicholas Cathedral launches 'sponsor a chorister'

St Nicholas Cathedral has launched a scheme offering individuals or companies the opportunity to sponsor a chorister.

The choir itself costs £120,000 to provide music for over 200 services a year. Sponsorship will enable the Cathedral to keep alive the centuries old tradition of 'choristerships'.

Sponsors can have their branding on the Cathedral's website and programmes at all of the choir's performances. Individual sponsors will also get a mention and the opportunity for professional training with the musicians and joining the choir for a one off performance.
