Crathorne Hall Hotel to re-open after major fire
Crathorne Hall Hotel in North Yorkshire will be re-opening on Monday, 10th November following the fire that damaged part of the hotel last month.
More than 100 firefighters tackled the blaze at Crathorne Hall on 1st October and over 18 fire engines were used.
Now, after a month of intensive work to get the hotel operational after the major fire spread through an entire wing of the hotel, Crathorne will open on Monday.
Peter Llewellyn, General Manager, Crathorne Hall, paid tribute to the support of the local community:
The fire was believed to have started in the roof space at the hotel although the final cause has yet to be established. All guests and staff were evacuated safely. Around 100 fire fighters took more than eight hours to bring the blaze under control.
