Albino hedgehogs: Plea to help our hedgehogs

A hedgehog rescue charity in Northumberland has found itself in the headlines thanks to some very unusual arrivals

In your garden:

Leave areas ‘wild’ with autumn leaf litter, logs and garden cuttings.

Just a piece of board against a wall can make a simple home.

Feeding:

Leave out foods like tinned dog or cat food, chopped boiled eggs or minced meat.

Always try and provide fresh water - particularly after our very dry September.
