A South Shields dance teacher, who won the Mr Gay UK title, is heading to My Gay World with the dream of becoming the first UK contestant to win.
Stuart Hatton will represent the UK in Rome on Monday 25th August.
He's been speaking to Rachel Sweeney about the biggest competition of his career.
Stuart Hatton came third in Mr Gay Europe and says he wants to win to become an established representative of the LGBTI communities.
The 28-year-old dancer says he finds the support overwhelming.
Mr Gay World begins on August 25th and the final takes place on August 30th.
