Sunflower tribute to War dead

Sunflowers representing the 1,245 people from Stockton who died in the First World War are being laid out in the town's parish garden.

Tomorrow night (Monday) Stockton Parish Church and Gardens will remain open for 1245 minutes to remember and reflect on the lives lost in The Great War.

The vigil will begin with a reading in the church of the names of the 1,245 who died.
