Chris Froome: Tour de France route "breathtaking"

It is now just 32 days until the biggest sporting event on the planet lands on our doorstep.

During the weekend British rider Chris Froome paid a flying visit to North Yorkshire to check out the roads where the opening stages of this year's Tour De France will be run.

He is the reigning Tour de France champion and the favourite to win one of the toughest events in sport for a second year running.

His verdict on what he found could not have been more positive.
