The new arrivals at Flamingo Land are hugely significant.

The cubs will help boost global population numbers, as it's estimated that there are now only 400 Sumatran Tigers in the world.

Sumatran tigers are protected by law in their native Indonesia, but despite increased efforts in conservation and anti-poaching measures a substantial market remains for their parts and products.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, Sumatran tigers are losing their habitat and prey and poaching shows no sign of decline.
