March 2009: The investigation into Claudia Lawrence's disappearance started the day she failed to turn up to work.

More than a hundred officers were on the case and police confirmed their belief she was murdered.

Police received more than a thousand calls from the public, as they searched almost 1300 properties around York and the university.

Later that year detectives even extended their search abroad, to Cyprus and Ireland.

2010: the number of officers working on the case were scaled back. A cash reward for information was dropped.

2013: Cash reward reinstated after a review of the case was ordered. Police searched her house once again.
