Final Thornaby demolition makes way for new homes

Stockton Council has announced that the last properties at Mandale Park in Thornaby have now been demolished so new homes can be built.

The £100million scheme to regenerate the estate has seen 578 houses demolished and 770 new homes built since 2004.

20 properties have just been knocked down so 90 homes can be constructed with work due to be completed in 2016.
