Weather: A look ahead... with a little lamb

Looking ahead Credit: Ross Hutchinson

It is one of our clearest signs of spring and today Newham Grange County Farm in Middlesbrough showed off their latest arrival - their first lamb of the season.

But does this arrival signal the start of springlike weather?

Tonight:

Dry, clear spells for much of the night, winds dropping light for a time allowing a slight frost in places.

Later in the night, freshening southerly winds will bring increasing cloud and lift temperatures towards morning. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Tomorrow:

A windy morning and cloudy for a time, a few spots of rain for a time. Brightening up through the afternoon, sunny spells developing and feeling mild, despite the breeze.

Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Have you got an idea for a name for our little lamb?
