Pop supergroup announce stop-off in Scarborough

Pop supergroup McBusted have announced that they will take to the stage for one night only at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday 27 June.

McBusted formed in November 2013 after both bands briefly reunited at the Royal Albert Hall for McFly's tenth anniversary concert, spurring on fan excitement that saw the hashtag #mcbusted become the number 1 worldwide trend on Twitter.

The newly-formed band are now set to play Europe's largest open-air theatre in Scarborough in the summer.

Between the two groups - McFly and Busted - the boys have knocked up some impressive achievement, including:

  • 15 million records sold worldwide

  • 14 number one's

  • 20 top 3 singles

  • 27 top ten singles.

Tickets for the gig will go on sale from 9am, Saturday 1 February and will be available from:

  • Tourism bureau in Scarborough

  • Tourist information centre on Langborne Road in Whitby

  • Sandside in Scarborough

  • The Brunswick Centre in Westborough in Scarborough

  • Tourist information centre on John Street in Filey
