Fixture: Gateshead v Ebbsfleet

Venue: Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough

Kick-off: Sat 20th Apr, 5:15pm

Gateshead will be playing for survival this weekend as the Blue Square Bet Premier enters its final day.

Despite conceding a last minute equaliser to fellow strugglers Stockport County on Tuesday night, the Heed are still two points above the relegation zone. So a draw against an already relegated Ebbsfleet on Saturday should be enough to stay up.

However, with the pitch at the International Stadium still out of action the match is being held at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium. So as it's a neutral venue - and there's no home advantage - manager Anth Smith says he's treating the game like a cup final. He said:

Perhaps another advantage for Gateshead is that Stockport are away to title chasers Kidderminster. So for the Heed to finish the season in the drop zone, it has to be a very bad day at the office.

FINAL DAY FIXTURES

  • Kidderminster v Stockport
