Line-up for Evolution Festival 2013 announced

The line-up for Evolution - the annual music festival held on Newcastle and Gateshead's quayside - has been announced.

The Evolution festival will take place on the Bank Holiday weekend of Sunday May 26th and Monday May 27th.

Big names set to play on the Sunday include The Vaccines, Ellie Goulding and Rudimental.

Other well-known artists set to play on the bank holiday Monday will be headliner Paloma Faith and singer=songwriter Jake Bugg.

The Evolution Festival will also play host to local singer and rising star Lulu James.

The 21-year-old heralds from Sunderland and is currently a firm favourite of DJs on Radio 1.
