Last week's heavy rain caused a landslide on the estate in Newburn, destroying the foundations of their homes and now many families are homeless.

Part of the estate was evacuated.

In the meantime there's a legal wrangle between the developer Dunelm Homes and Northumberland Estates, who own the land where the culvert collapsed.

David Ferguson from Northumberland Estates spoke to Pam Royle to try and explain the situation. He began by explaining if they'd discovered the cause of the culvert collapse.
