Open air concert boost for region

Close House near Wylam in the Tyne Valley is hosting open air concerts with the cast of the West End show Mamma Mia and, on the following night, international singing star Katherine Jenkins.

The Hotel says it will attract people to the region and highlight the beauties of Northumberland. More than 5,000 people are expected to attend.
