Hospice chef carries Olympic torch
A chef from a Tyneside hospice is one of the North East's Olympic torch bearers. Dave Taylor who cooks at St Oswald's Hospice in Newcastle was nominated by his friends and colleagues.
He's carrying the torch in the Morpeth section of the relay through Northumberland.
As well as working at the hospice Dave raises money for it by taking part in charity runs. He completed the Great North Run with a full sized fridge strapped to his back and pushing one of the day patients around the course in a wheelchair.
