Marine Wildlife Festival

A week-long festival is taking place at the Great North Museum looking at marine life and exploring some mammals that call our region home.

There will be a series of evening lectures and free family events as well as day trips to Whitley Bay to ramble in the rock pools and the chance to meet experts to spot marine wildlife from the top of St. Mary’s Lighthouse.
