95 year old Doris Hancock from Ambleside in Cumbria has no plans on taking it easy. She's set off on a mammoth treck to walk the length of Hadrian's Wall.

She'll be doing it in five mile stages and over eight different legs, so finishing this October.

Her journey got underway this morning. Doris hasn't harboured a life-long ambition to walk the wall however. The only reason she is doing it is because she bought a guide book on Hadrian's Wall in a sale because it was cheap.
